Venice Effect: a now event linked to the history of his neighborhood and the entire city of Livorno.

Born in 1986 on the initiative of the Municipal Administration Livorno, Venice Effect is now a dellle events more attractive Tuscan summer landscape.

Since then the festival has grown in every respect, accentuating every year on its spectacular content and involving the New Venice district, one of the most stunning locations in the city, in a complex process of architectural renovation and historical appreciation, cultural and commercial.

Spanning across various genres and cultural events, in over thirty years of history, Venice Effect hosted artists, characters and big name companies, eventually becoming the most eagerly awaited dell’estare Livorno. A moment of attraction and fun for both the resident population and for tourists, but also an important stage for emerging artists, local or otherwise, always the sign of identity enhancement of the city and its territory.

Today Effect Venice is a well established and recognized brand that arouses considerable interest and which each year attracts a large audience, diversified, from both Tuscany and the rest of Italy. In 2015, thanks to a careful revision of the format, with over 3 million euro of induced and 150,000 admissions, has once again proven to be for the entire city a valuable economic resource and a promotional vehicle of great value under the tourist and cultural profile.

 

the PalaAlgida

The PalaAlgida of Livorno is a multipurpose facility, built for the City Administration initiative to Livorno. It is located in via the Veterans of the sport, 8 places Porta a Terra. l PalaAlgida hosts the home games of the first basketball club of the city, the Basket Livorno. The property is easily reachable from the Aurelia (exit Livorno Porta a Terra), both from Livorno Central Railway Station through the subway or city bus line 7.
